Pneumatic Floating Ball Valve
Nominal Diameter:DN50~DN1400
Nominal Pressure:PN10~PN100
Applicable Temperature:-29°C~425°C
Body Material:WCB,CF8,CF3M
Performance Features
- Simple structure and high cost-effectiveness: The valve body is small, light in weight, and has few parts. Manufacturing and maintenance costs are low, making it the most economical choice for medium and low-pressure conditions.
- Piston effect sealing: The ball itself has no supporting shaft. Under the action of medium pressure, the ball is pushed toward the downstream seat, forming a single-sided self-energizing seal (the higher the pressure, the tighter the seal).
- Bidirectional sealing capability: Although sealing mainly relies on the downstream end, bidirectional shut-off can be achieved simply by changing the medium flow direction or installation direction.
- Light and fast operation: Rotating the handle by only 90° completes full opening or full closing, ensuring rapid opening and closing actions.
- Minimal flow resistance: The full-bore design allows the fluid to pass almost in a straight line, resulting in minimal pressure loss.
- Working condition limitations: Since the pressure of the ball on the seat is too high under high pressure, it easily causes seat material deformation or a sharp increase in torque. Therefore, floating ball valves are generally suitable for medium/low-pressure and small-to-medium diameter pipelines.
