A stainless steel vertical check valve is a valve that relies on the flow of the medium itself to automatically open and close the disc, used to prevent medium backflow. It is also known as a non-return valve, one-way valve, reverse flow valve, or back-pressure valve. A check valve belongs to the category of automatic valves. Its main functions are to prevent medium backflow, prevent reverse rotation of pumps and their drive motors, and prevent the discharge of media from containers. Check valves can also be used in pipelines supplying auxiliary systems where the pressure may rise above the system pressure. Check valves can mainly be divided into swing check valves (rotating around the center of gravity) and lift check valves (moving along the axis).
