Product Features

1、The globe valve relies on the pressure of the valve stem to make the disc sealing surface closely fit the seat sealing surface to stop the medium flow. It belongs to the forced sealing type valve.

2、The medium flow direction of the globe valve has two types: "low inlet, high outlet" and "high inlet, low outlet". The medium is only allowed to flow in one direction, and the installation is directional.

3、When the globe valve is opened and the opening height of the disc reaches 25%–30% of the nominal diameter, the flow rate has already reached its maximum, indicating that the globe valve has reached the fully open position.

4、The structure of the globe valve is simpler than that of the gate valve, and both manufacturing and maintenance are more convenient.

5、The sealing surface is not easily worn or scratched, providing good sealing performance. During opening and closing, there is no relative sliding between the disc and the valve body sealing surface, so wear and scratches are not severe. It has good sealing performance and a long service life.

6、During opening and closing, the disc stroke is small, so the height of the globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the face-to-face length is longer than that of the gate valve.

7、The opening and closing torque is large, requiring more effort. When fully open, the disc is often subject to erosion.

8、High fluid resistance. Because the medium passage in the valve body is tortuous, the fluid resistance is high, resulting in high power consumption.
