Product Overview
The closing member of an electric globe valve is a plug-shaped disc, with a flat or conical sealing surface, and the disc moves linearly along the centerline of the fluid. The stem movement types include a rising stem type (the stem rises and falls, while the handwheel does not) and a rising rotating stem type (the handwheel and stem rotate and rise together, with the stem nut located on the valve body). Electric globe valves are only suitable for fully open and fully closed positions, and are not allowed for regulation or throttling.
