    Product Features

    1. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The sealing surfaces form a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with valve parameters, usually 5°.

    2. The sealing principle of the wedge gate valve relies on the tight fit of the two sealing surfaces of the wedge gate and the two sealing surfaces of the valve body when wedged in, thereby achieving the sealing purpose.

    3. According to the different ways the stem drives the gate to open and close, wedge gate valves can be divided into rising stem gate valves and non-rising stem gate valves (rotating stem gate valves).

    4. According to the different structural forms of the gate, wedge gate valves can be divided into flexible gate and rigid gate valves.

    5. The valve body is cast, the body and bonnet are bolted, the middle flange is sealed with a spiral wound gasket, and a metal ring connection can also be used if the customer has special requirements.

    6. Smooth passage, small flow coefficient. The sealing surface is subjected to little scouring and erosion by the medium.

    7. The sealing surfaces are made of alloy steel or hard alloy, providing good wear resistance and anti-scoring performance.

    8. Flexible graphite packing is adopted, ensuring reliable sealing and light, flexible operation.

    9. The flow direction of the medium is unrestricted, causing no turbulence and no pressure drop.
