  • Cast Iron Gate Valve

    Product Model: Z41T

    Nominal Diameter: DN15~1200mm

    Nominal Pressure: PN1.0~1.6MPa

    Applicable Temperature: ≤200°C

Applicable Media: Water, steam, oil, etc.

    Main Material: Cast iron

    Product Features

    1. Low flow resistance. The medium passage inside the valve body is straight-through, allowing the medium to flow in a straight line with low flow resistance.

    2. Relatively effortless to open and close. Compared with a globe valve, the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the medium flow direction, whether opening or closing.

    3. Large height and long opening/closing time. The opening and closing stroke of the gate is relatively large, and it is driven by a threaded stem.

    4. Water hammer phenomenon is not easily generated. The reason is the long closing time.

    5. The medium can flow in either direction on both sides, making installation easy. The two sides of the gate valve passage are symmetrical.

    6. Short face-to-face length (the distance between the two connecting end faces of the body).

    7. The sealing surfaces are prone to wear, affecting service life. During opening and closing, the two sealing surfaces of the gate and seat slide against each other, and under medium pressure, they are prone to scratching and wear, which affects sealing performance and shortens service life.

    8. Relatively expensive. There are more contact sealing surfaces and machining is more complex, especially the sealing surfaces on the gate seat are difficult to machine, and there are many parts.

    9. Simple shape, short face-to-face length, good manufacturability, and a wide range of applications.

    10. Compact structure, good valve rigidity, smooth passage, and low flow resistance coefficient. The sealing surfaces are made of stainless steel and hard alloy, ensuring a long service life. PTFE packing is adopted for reliable sealing and light, flexible operation.
